L&T bags order worth Rs 2,500 crore for building data centre in Uzbekistan
Multi-sector business group L&T (Larsen & Toubro) has bagged an order worth up to Rs 2,500 crore (as per the firm's classification of orders) for building Uzbekistan's first AI-enabled and sustainable 10-megawatt data center in Tashkent. The firm would develop the project through the engineering, procurement, and construction routes.
In a statement, L&T said the data center will have robust security measures to protect sensitive data and will set new standards for data center infrastructure in the region.
