Bengaluru Suburban rail project: KPC emerges lowest bidder for work relatd to Soladevanahalli Depot
Karnataka Rail Infrastructure Development Company (K-RIDE) has declared KPC Projects Ltd. as the lowest bidder (L one bidder) for its tender related to the construction of Soladevanahalli Depot of the 149.35 km Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP). The firm placed a bid of Rs 209.72 crore.
The depot would be used to stabilize & maintain trains on 24.866 km Corridor 2 (Mallige Line) which will connect Baiyyappanahalli Terminal – Chikkabanavara via 14 stations. Along with another depot at Akkupet (Devanahalli), it will house the project’s rolling stock comprising 51 trains (306 coaches).
The work involves the construction of Depot with Administration & Workshop Buildings At Soladevanahalli (Chikkabanawara) including Civil, MEP, Roofing, Signage, Architectural Finishes, STP, External Drainage, Internal Roads, Boundary Wall, construction of At-Grade Formation of Length 1.00 Km (Approximately) and other Associated Works between Chikkabanavara Station to Soladevanahalli Depot.
