Jaigad and Kundalika bridge project: Ashoka Buildcon Ltd emerges lowest bidder
Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has declared Ashoka Buildcon Ltd. (ABL) as the lowest bidder (L one bidder) for the civil construction work of two new bridges over Jaigad and Kundalika rivers on EPC mode. The 2 bridges on Maharashtra State Highway SH-4 (Revas – Reddi Coastal Highway) are part of a series of at least 8 new bridges being built by Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) across creeks and rivers.
The 4.4 km long Jaigad Creek Bridge with 2 lanes will connect Tavasal and Sandelavagan over the Jaigad River in Ratnagiri District. ABL placed a bid of Rs 794.85 crore for the project. On the other hand, 3.8 km long Kundalika Bridge with 2 lanes will connect Revdanda and Salav over the Kundalika River in Raigad. For this project, the firm placed a bid of Rs 1357.87 crore.
