Kochi Metro: Siemens bags order worth over Rs 91 crore related to phase 2
Indian arm of German firm Siemens Limited has bagged a new order worth Rs 91.6 crore from Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL). The order is for communication systems as part of the Kochi Metro's second phase.
The scope of work covers the installation of passenger announcement systems, digital information displays, CCTV surveillance, emergency communication facilities, fibre-optic connectivity, access control systems, office automation, networks, and cyber security measures, among other things.
