Sembcorp join hands with Sojitz Corp and Kyushu Electric for green ammonia projects in India
Singapore-based energy and urban development company Sembcorp Industries has joined hands with Japanese conglomerate Sojitz Corp and energy major Kyushu Electric to produce green ammonia in India for supplies to Japan.
This comes as Japan aims to import 3 million tonnes of ammonia for fuel by 2030, with demand expected to grow to 30 MT by 2050.
