Pune Metro: Joint venture of RITES bagged order for DDC contract
The joint venture (JV) of RITES and STUP Consultants has bagged an order worth Rs 2.92 crore from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL). The order is for Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) services for Pune Metro’s Phase 1 Extension (Phase 1A) project.
The scope of work involves designing 13 new elevated stations on Pune Metro’s Aqua Line (Line-2) which will be extended in either direction. 2 stations would be built on the line’s 1.12 km western extension (Line-2A) between Vanaz – Chandni Chowk, while eleven stations will be built on the line’s 11.63 km eastern extension (Line-2B) between Ramwadi – Wagholi.
