Investment worth Rs 3,000 crore to flow in Nashik
Maharashtra’s State Industries Minister, Uday Samant has informed that the city of Nashik would attract investment worth Rs 3,000 crore, as two major manufacturing companies have expressed interest in establishing units in the district. Negotiations with the state government are in the advanced stage and the defense manufacturing unit is expected to begin operations in Nashik by the end of December 2024.
Further, an automobile manufacturing firm has also approached the state government to set up a unit in Nashik. Supporting industrial expansion the state government plans to invest in setting up new power substations across MIDC areas in the state, addressing the region’s growing energy requirements for industrial development.
