Tumakuru to Rayadurga rail line project: Tender worth over Rs 611 crore floated by South Western Railway
South Western Railway (SWR) has floated an EPC tender worth Rs 611.53 crore inviting bids from eligible bidders for the construction of a new broad gauge (BG) line in the Tumakuru-Rayadurga new line project in Karnataka. The period of completion of the work is 18 months.
As per the tender, the scope of work involves a new BG line between chainage 51/500 & chainage 84/000 and the scope covers railway electrification, civil works, signal & telecommunication works, and electrical general services between Madhugiri and Madakasira. The last date for bid submission is 08 January 2025.
