L&T emerges lowest bidder for NTPC's projects
NTPC has declared Larsen & Toubro (L&T) as the lowest bidder (L one bidder) for its super thermal power plants (STPPs) at Gadarwara in Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Nabinagar in Bihar.
As per the tender, the work involves design, engineering, manufacture, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning works for the main plant package based on single point responsibility, covering the activities and services in respect of steam generator and auxiliaries, electrostatic precipitator, biomass co-firing capability, steam turbine, and others.
L&T would work on plant package for Gadarwara STPP Stage-II (2x800 MW), Telangana STPP Stage- II (3 X 800 MW), and Nabinagar STPP Stage-II (3x800 MW).
