Station redevelopment: Rs 49 crore tender for Kanniyakumari station awarded
The southern Railway has awarded a work tender for the redevelopment of Kanniyakumari railway station. Rs 49.36 crore project would offer an airport-like experience for passengers with futuristic infrastructure and amenities.
As per southern railways revamped station will feature world-class amenities promising to meet the requirements of the next 40 to 60 years.
