Sumitomo likely to buy 18 acres land from Bombay Dyeing
Japanese conglomerate Sumitomo is likely to buy 18 acres of Bombay Dyeing’s mill land on Pandurang Budhkar Marg in Worli. The space would be purchased for roughly Rs 5,000 crore. As of now, there is no official confirmation of the deal.
This deal could potentially be the largest land deal in the city's history. The property, owned by the Wadia Group, is being sold as vacant land and the group's offices are being relocated to the Bombay Dyeing property in Dadar-Naigaum.
