Tata Motors, Hyundai To Provide 250 Electric Vehicles To Government-Owned ESSL
World’s largest public-sector Energy service company Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) is set for Electic Vehicle (EV) procurements. The public sector unit would be procuring 250 electric vehicles from Tata Motors and Hyundai Motor India. As per the agreement the companies would be supplying:

100 units Kona electric SUVs

150 units Nexon electric compact SUVs  Â
The agreed procurement price is Rs 14.86 lakh each for Tata Nexon and Hyundai Kona at Rs 21.36 lakh each. The procured electric vehicles would be used to replace the existing fleet of petrol and diesel vehicles of the Central and State Governments.Â
