Torrent Power Acquires Solar Plant From Lightsource
Energy and power company, Torrent Power has informed completion of the acquisition of 50 MW solar power plant from Lightsource bp and UKCI. The acquisition is done for an enterprise value of Rs 300 crore. In a statement the firm said , "Torrent Power Limited has, pursuant to Securities Purchase Agreement with Lightsource India Ltd and Lightsource Renewable Energy (India) Ltd, completed the transaction of acquisition of 100 percent of the share capital and all securities of LREHL Renewables India SPV 1 Private Ltd (SPV)".
