Vadapalani bus terminal project: Tender floated by CMAML for redevelopment
The Chennai Metro Asset Management Limited (CMAML) has floated the tender for the redevelopment of Vadapalani bus terminal. As per updates, the tenders aim to redevelop the terminal spread over 6.65 acres into a modern multimodal hub and commercial complex.
The project is likely to cost Rs 480 crore, and the work involves the development of a ground-level transit hub with five boarding bays and two alighting bays. Further above the terminal, a 12-storey structure will include retail outlets, a food court and restaurant hub, and office spaces.
