Cabinet clears railway projects worth Rs 9,072 crores
Union government's Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has cleared railway projects worth Rs 9,072 crores. The work includes multitracking projects, which will expand the existing network of Indian Railways by about 307 kms.
The projects approved by CCEA are:
- Gondia-Jabalpur Doubling
- Punarakh-Kiul 3rd and 4th line
- Gamharia-Chandil 3rd and 4th line
