Solar Group plans to invest over Rs 12, 800 crores in drones, robots manufacturing
Solar Group firm, Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited, is planning to invest over Rs 12, 800 crores in the manufacturing of robots, UAVs of different sizes and types, along with long-range missiles.
This investment will be spread over 3-4 years and aims to produce 10,000 drones and 1,000 robots annually at its Nagpur facility. As per The Economic Times, the facility will be India's first AI-Powered Industry 5.0 manufacturing ecosystem.
