5 Samadhan centres planned by Godrej Agrovet in Tamil Nadu
Godrej Group's agri sector arm Godrej Agrovert plans to develop 5 Samadhan centres in Tamil Nadu. The firm's Oil Palm Plantation business (OPP) would set these centers as a part of the company’s plans to establish 35 new Samadhan centers at a total investment of Rs 70 crore across the country by 2027.
As per the firm, the not-for-profit Samadhan is a one-stop solution center offering a comprehensive package including inputs, tools, services, and solutions for oil palm farmers to enhance yield and improve productivity. The first Samadhan center in the state was inaugurated at Thanjavur and four to five more centers would be set up in different parts of the state including Cuddalore, Villupuram, and Tiruvarur over the next 18 months.
