Acume Chemicals commissions first phase of production facility at Gujarat
The wholly-owned subsidiary of Archean Chemical has informed commissioning of the first phase of a production facility for bromine derivative products at its manufacturing factory in Gujarat. Firm's net sales for the December quarter for the 2023–24 fiscal stood at Rs 412.63 crore, while the quarterly net profit was at Rs 101.53 crore.
Archean Chemical is expected to benefit from the ongoing war situation in West Asia that may drive up bromine prices, primarily due to the anticipated slowdown in bromine production in the Dead Sea region, which borders Israel and Jordan.
