Ahmedabad Metro: Tender worth over Rs 879 crore floated for phase 2A
The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) has floated a tender worth Rs 879.27 crore for civil construction work under Phase 2A of the Ahmedabad Metro. According to the tender, the project involves the construction of 4.97 km of elevated viaduct, four elevated stations, and a 1.01-km underground section, including an underground station. The work is scheduled to be completed within 36 months (three years).
Phase 2A is a 6.032-km airport extension corridor connecting Koteshwar Road with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. The last date for bid submission is September 28, 2026.
