Air India to develop BMTO at Bengaluru Airport
Tata Group's aviation venture Air India has plans to set up a Basic Maintenance Training Organisation (BMTO) inside Bengaluru Airport City. The BMTO would offer an integrated Aircraft Maintenance Engineering program and is set to be operational by mid-2026.
As per the firm integrated 2+2-year course will come up on a campus spread over 86,000 sqft and will be housed close to Air India’s new 12-bay Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility.
