Order worth Rs 1,000 crores bagged by RVNL
Government-owned Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) has bagged new orders worth Rs 1,000 crores. One of the orders is worth Rs 758.07 crores, and is from NMDC Ltd for the development of railway infrastructure linked to the capacity expansion project at Bacheli in Chhattisgarh.
The scope of the work involves the development of a railway siding near Padapur village, along with bridges, PWD road diversion, and associated civil works. The period of completion of the work is 36 months. Further, the firm will undertake preparation of the feasibility study report (FSR), detailed project report (DPR), detailed engineering, execution, and project management consultancy (PMC) services for the capacity expansion
The other order is from West Central Railway for electric traction system upgradation works in the Jabalpur Division. The estimated value of the work is Rs 244.32 crores.
