Kolkata Metro: Tender floated for work related to blue line
The Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation (KMRCL) has floated a tender inviting bids for the rehabilitation works on parts of the Blue Line viaduct. The estimated cost of the tender is Rs 43.36 crores with work covering viaduct sections between Dakshineswar (KDSW) and Dum Dum (KDMI), as well as stretches between Mahanaya Uttam Kumar and Kavi Subhas stations.
The aim is to strengthen ageing metro structures and improve the long-term reliability of the corridor.
