Amaravati smart city project: Tenders for resuming stalled work likely to be floated by year end
The ambitious Amaravati smart city project could see the light of the day. Andra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has received from the union government to launch all stalled work.
The project is poised to get 28,500 crore for various infrastructure works next year. As per the update, CRDA is in the process of resolving all legal hurdles to restart the works, as the contracts awarded earlier are to be terminated following due process to avoid further complications.
The allotment of tenders for all works in the capital, except the iconic buildings, will be completed by the end of December, said the state's Municipal administration and urban development minister, P Narayana.
