Balrampur Chini to develop new procesisng plant in Kumbhi
Sugar manufacturing firm, Balrampur Chini Mills (BCML), has plans to develop a Lactogypsum Processing Plant in Uttar Pradesh's Kumbhi, Unnao district. As per updates, the facility will manufacture gypsum boards using lactogypsum, a by-product of the company’s upcoming Polylactic Acid project.
The project is expected to take an investment of around Rs 160 crores. It would have a production capacity of about 76 lakh gypsum boards per annum and is expected to start commercial production by December, 2027.
