Government of Karnataka chalks out HAL campus redevelopment plan
The government of Karnataka is planning a redevelopment of the Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd airport campus in Bengaluru. As per the updates, the government is designing a 10-year plan to turn into an integrated aerospace hub.
The plan drafted by the Karnataka State Policy and Planning Commission aims to transform nearly 700 acres into a unified ecosystem spanning defence, civil aviation, and space sectors under the proposed HAL Aerospace Renaissance Masterplan for 2026 to 2036.
