Helmet maker Studds to set up new manufacturing plant, to invest around Rs 150 crores
Renowned helmet maker, Studds Accessories Ltd, has plans to develop a new manufacturing plant in Faridabad, Haryana. This would be the firm's 5th facility, which will take its total installed capacity to around 12 million units.
The project is likely to take an investment of Rs 150 crores and will be developed in 2 phases. Under the first phase, a capacity of 1.5 million units is scheduled to commence commercial operations in the second quarter of FY27, while the remaining capacity is expected to be added by 2027–28.
