Battery storage gigafactory: GoodEnough Energy says operations to start by October , to infuse Rs 3 billion
Clean energy firm GoodEnough Energy's battery energy storage gigafactory which happens to be the first such in India is expected to start operations by October. The firm spent 1.5 billion rupees on the 7 gigawatts per hour (GWH) facility and will spend 3 billion rupees by 2027 to raise capacity to 20 GWH.
Battery energy storage enables the storage of energy from solar, wind, and other renewable sources so it can be released when needed.
