Bihar government approves bridge and road projects to boost connectivity
The Bihar government's cabinet has given its approval to various road and bridge projects ahead of the assembly elections this year. Among the approvals are:
Rs 589 crore for constructing a high-level PSC box cell superstructure bridge with access roads from Fatehabad (Paru Block) to Chanchalia (Saraiya Block) over the Gandak River in Muzaffarpur district.
Rs 4,119.06 crore earmarked for land acquisition, utility shifting, and R&R works related to the JP Ganga Path project. The project stretches 20.5 km from Digha to Didarganj in Patna.
Rs 765.86 crore approved for upgrading SH-95, including bridges and ROBs, under the Bihar State Highway Project-III (Phase-2).
