Aunta-Simaria Ganga Bridge: Welspun deliveres the project successfully
Welspun Enterprises (WEL) has delivered the Aunta-Simaria Ganga Bridge Project in Bihar successfully. PM Modi inaugurated and dedicated the project featuring India’s widest extradosed cable-stayed bridge over the River Ganga.
Spread over 1.8 kilometres, the bridge is 34 metres wide and part of the 8.15-kilometre project, directly connecting Aunta in Patna district with Simaria in Begusarai district. This bridge is designed to support heavy vehicular loads and serve as a modern, robust alternative to the 70-year-old Rajendra Setu Bridge nearby.
