Former PM Jawaharlal Nehru's first official residence sold in Delhi
India's first prime minister (PM) Jawaharlal Nehru's first official residence, located at 17, Motilal Nehru Marg in the Lutyens' Bungalow Zone (LBZ), is sold in a deal worth around Rs 1,100 crore. Spread over 14,973 square metres, the property is likely to be acquired by a businessman from the beverage industry.
Currently, the property is owned by Raj Kumari Kackar and Bina Rani, who are members of an erstwhile royal family from Rajasthan.
