Government To Roll Out 2nd PLI For Textile Sector
The union government has planned to come out with a second production-linked scheme (PLI) for the textiles sector. Idea is to give a further boost to manufacturing and exports of apparel. Union Commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal said that the government will soon seek Cabinet approval for the second PLI scheme on textiles.
