Gupta Power Insolvency Process: Vedanta, Jindal Power, Havells among firms to place bids
The insolvency proceedings of Gupta Power Infrastructure Ltd. (GPIL) have seen big names in the bidding process. Jindal Power, Vedanta, and Havells India are among 22 prospective bidders that have submitted expressions of interest (EoIs) as per The Economic Times.
UltraTech Cement, Waaree Energies, Torrent Electricals, Himadri Speciality Chemicals, Orissa Metalik,s and ABCI Infrastructures are other bidders. The firm has admitted debtor claims of Rs 4,240 crores.
