Haryana to set up thermal power unit at Hisar
The chief minister of the state of Haryana Nayab Singh Saini has announced that the state government would set up an additional 800 MW ultra super critical thermal power unit at the Rajiv Gandhi thermal power plant in Khedar of Hisar district. As per estimate the project would cost Rs 7,250 crore and is expected to help Haryana to achieve self-reliance in power generation in the near future.
