HCL and Foxconn joint venture semiconductor project gets cabinet approval
The Union Cabinet has given its approval to the semiconductor manufacturing facility to be developed by a joint venture (JV) of HCL and Foxconn. This project would be set up near Jewar airport in Uttar Pradesh under the India Semiconductor Mission.
The proposed project would be set up with an investment of Rs 3,700 crore, producing display driver chips.
