IB Solar plans PV module manufacturing capacity expansion
Leading producer of standard PV Systems IB Solar is expanding its PV module manufacturing capacity to 500 MW with the addition of a 400 MW fully automated line. The firm said that the new facility, located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, would become operational by July this year.
The new 400 MW facility can produce M10, half-cut, 144-cell modules.IB Solar plans to enter cell manufacturing by 2026 and is in talks with foreign/European companies for a possible JV (Joint Venture).
