IRCON'S joint venture bags order worth Rs 763
Government-owned IRCON International's joint venture (JV) with Badri Rai & Company has bagged a new order worth Rs 763.1 crore. The order is from Tripura State Electricity Corporation Ltd (TSECL) and involves the development of a smart grid project in the capital, Agartala.
The scope of work involves design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of an underground power cable network, smart grid applications, and communication infrastructure across the city. As per updates, the scope of work also covers Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), Outage Management System (OMS), GIS mapping and integration, optical fibre cable networks, and the establishment of primary and backup smart grid control centres.
The period of execution of the work is 2 years, that is, 24 months.
