NH748 expansion: MoRTH starts acquiring land for the project
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has begun the process of four-laning of the Bhoma-Old Goa stretch of NH 748. As a part of the plan, work is initiated for the acquisition of 8,863sqm of private land at Bhoma and Kundaim villages of Ponda taluka.
The process covers 42 privately owned wetland plots spread across the two villages — 30 plots at Bhoma and 12 at Kundaim. As per updates from ETInfra.com, the work is to be executed in a hybrid annuity mode.
