Uttar Pradesh government aims to be AI Infra hub to add 2 GW capacity
The state government of Uttar Pradesh plans to undertake a major expansion of the data centre project in the state. As per updates, the government has set a goal of adding more than 2 GW of new data centre capacity by 2030.
UP is looking to attract private investments worth nearly Rs 4.9 trillion for the development of large-scale data centre projects in the state. Reports from Swarajya mention that domestic and international firms are expressing intent to establish data centres with a combined capacity of around 5,410 MW.
