Railway clears deck for project worth Rs 1,250 crore in Tirupati
South Coast Railway (SCoR) has set the ball rolling for railway infrastructure projects worth Rs 1,250 crore in Tirupati. The railways have initiated the land acquisition process and taken steps to commence construction works.
As per the updates, SCoR has issued the final land acquisition notification for acquiring land in 5 villages for the strategically important Yerpedu-Pudi railway bypass line and the Gudur-Renigunta third railway line project.
Gudur-Renigunta tripling project is estimated to cost Rs 900 crore, while the Yerpedu-Pudi bypass line will cost Rs 350 crore. E To E Transportation Infrastructure Limited bagged the contract for the Gudur-Renigunta tripling project, and the tender has been floated for the Yerpedu-Pudi bypass line.
