Joint venture of Web werks and Iron mountain to set new data centres, to invest Rs 1,800 crore
The joint venture of Web Werks and Iron Mountain Data Centres has plans to invest Rs 1,800 crore to set up two new data centers in Chennai. As per the update, a joint venture (JV) announced the acquisition of a four-acre parcel of land in Ambattur to house two new data centers (CHE-1 and CHE-2) to meet growing customer demand in the region.
The two data centers will support 36 megawatts of IT load.
