gH2 solar and Mormugao Port sign MoU for development of Hydrogen Hub
Renewable energy firm, GH2 Solar, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mormugao Port Authority (MPA). The MoU is for the development of a green hydrogen hub at Mormugao Port in Goa.
As per the MoU, the preparation of a detailed project report (DPR) and techno-commercial feasibility study covering green hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol production will take place within port limits. The project will be developed in a phase-wise manner, and it aims to position Mormugao Port as a key gateway for green fuel exports to Europe and the Middle East, leveraging its strategic western coastline.
