JSW energy all set to enter storage system business
JSW energy is all set to enter the energy storage solutions business with its step-down subsidiary JSW Renew Energy Five. The subsidiary has received letters of award (LoA) for standalone battery storage systems from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
SECI had invited bids for setting up pilot projects of 500/1,000 megawatt hours (MWh) standalone battery energy storage systems. The projects comprise two projects, each of 250 MWh or 500 MWh, said JSW energy.
