Kalinganagar project: Tata steel looks to complete expansion
Steel sector major Tata Steel is looking to complete the expansion of its Kalinganagar project by December next year. The firm commenced the second phase of expansion of its Kalinganagar project worth Rs 23,500 crore in 2018 to reach the production capacity of 8 million tonnes per annum, from 3 MTPA.
As per the firm the project includes raw material capacity expansion, upstream and mid-stream facilities, infrastructure, and downstream facilities including a cold rolling mill complex.
