Karnataka to develop new cricket stadium in Bengaluru
The state government of Karnataka is set to develop a new cricket stadium in Bengaluru. State's Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has given the green light for a Rs 1,650-crore mega sports complex at Surya City in Bommasandra.
The state-of-the-art cricket stadium would have a seating capacity of 80,000. It would become the second-largest cricket stadium in India, behind only the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
