Kempegowda International Airport: Prime Minister Modi to inaugrate terminal 2
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International on Friday 11th November. The terminal built at the cost of around Rs 5,000 crore is designed as a tribute to the Garden city of Bengaluru.
A newly constructed terminal with a capacity of 25 lakh and 100 counters was much needed as the number of international passengers arriving in Bangaluru is huge. The PM would also unveil 108 feet tall statue of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda - the founder of Bengaluru city in Devanahali.
