KLA plans to develop R&D campus in Chennai, to invest Rs 3,600 crores
US-based semiconductor firm KLA plans to set up a global research and development (R&D) and innovation campus in Chennai. The firm has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government to invest around Rs 3,600 crores in the project.
Spread over 12 acres, the project is envisioned as KLA’s global R&D and innovation hub, with potential built-up capacity of up to 1.5 million square feet over time.
