Kolkata's Diamond Plaza to be acquired by Nexus Select Trust
Kolkata's Diamond Plaza is set to be acquired by India's first publicly listed retail Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), the Nexus Select Trust. As per updates, the board of directors of Nexus Select Mall Management, who manage the truts have given its nod to the deal.
The deal for the mall, which has 244,000 square feet of gross leasable area, is done for Rs 347.5 crores. The acquisition of the asset will be done through a special purpose vehicle (SPV), Nexusmalls Whitefield Private Limited.
