Kolkata's South City Mall acquired by Blackstone
Alternative investment management firm Blackstone has acquired South City Mall in Kolkata for a transactional value of Rs 3,250 crore. The mall is spread across over 1 million square feet and boasts high foot traffic and significant annual turnover.
South City Projects, which runs the mall, is a consortium of six Kolkata-based business families, including Emami Group, Merlin Group, Park Chambers Group, Shrachi Group, Jugal Kishore Khetawat, and Rajendra Kumar Bachhawat.
