L&T bags order from JSW Energy in Maharashtra
L&T's (Larsen & Toubro) Heavy Civil Infrastructure (HCI) business has bagged a significant order from JSW Energy. The order is related to the Bhavali Pumped Storage Project (PSP) in Maharashtra. As per L&T's classification, a significant order falls in the range of Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 2,000 crore.
The project is located near the Nashik and Thane districts and would be designed to have a total installed capacity of 1500 MW, comprising various small units. As per the order, the scope of work involves the execution of all civil works related to the project, including the construction of approach roads, upper and lower reservoirs, water conductor system, pressure tunnels, and the underground powerhouse unit.
