Mahindra and Mahindra likley to acquire land parcel in Igatpuri
Automobile major Mahindra and Mahindra has submitted a letter of interest (LoI) to the Maharashtra government to acquire 350 acres of land in Igatpuri. As per the firm, the land parcel could be used for multiple purposes, including setting up a supplier park and any other requirements for either Nashik or the Igatpuri plant.
This move is part of Mahindra's broader expansion strategy, including increasing production capacity at its Chakan plant and exploring greenfield locations for future growth beyond 2027.
